Four American University student-athletes were featured in the InterMat NCAA Division I wrestling rankings after the first week of the season.
Jasen Borshoff
Kyle Borshoff and Mike Cannon were both ranked fourth in their respective weight classes while Steve Fittery and Jasen Borshoff rank 17th and 18th, respectively.

The Eagles competed at the ACC Challenge last week where each of these four individuals had impressive showings. K. Borshoff went a perfect 3-0, defeating # 20 Peter Yates of Virginia Tech, Tyler St. Louis of North Carolina and Kellon Balum of #20 Virginia. J. Borshoff, meanwhile, also finished 3-0 and earned victories over Virginia Tech's Schuyler Swanton, UNC's Brian Bokoski and Virginia's Matt Snyder. Fittery went 2-1 with wins over No. 19 Jesse Dong of Virginia Tech and Dan Gonsor of Virginia while Cannon took a 7-2 decision over No. 18 Tommy Spellman of Virginia Tech in his lone match of the day.

K. Borshoff and Cannon, each a returning All-American from a year ago, were also ranked fourth in the InterMat Preseason Poll. J. Borshoff and Fittery, meanwhile, have entered the poll after being unranked to begin the season.

The Eagles will return to action on November 22 as they head to the Keystone Classic in Philadelphia, Pa. The Eagles finished third at last season's Keystone Classic while crowning two champions and placing seven wrestlers on the podium.

K. Borshoff willnot will travel with the team to the Keystone Classic but will instead be competing in the 44th annual NWCA All-Star Classic in Fullerton, Calif. on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. ET. K. Borshoff is the first American wrestler to be selected to compete in the event, which annually pits two of the top wrestlers in each weight class against one another. The All-Star Classic will be streamed live via LiveSportsVideo.com for a price of $9.99.
